HDMI / no signal
Console powers on but the TV shows "no signal" or a black screen? On the PS5 this is almost always a damaged HDMI port — the 19 internal pins or the port's anchor legs break, often after the cable gets knocked. We microsolder a reinforced replacement port and, where the Panasonic retimer chip is also damaged, replace that too. Tested in 4K before you collect.
