PS5 repair.
No signal? Fixed.
HDMI no-signal, blue light of death, disc drive faults, DualSense drift and overheating. All PS5 models repaired in our Bangor workshop — not sent away.
"No signal" is almost always the HDMI port.
The PS5 turns on, the light comes on, the fan spins — but the TV says no signal. Nine times out of ten this is physical damage to the HDMI port. Sony's PS5 port design is fragile: the 19 tiny internal pins, or the metal anchor legs that hold the port to the motherboard, break when the cable gets knocked or the console is moved.
We microsolder a reinforced replacement port — often stronger than Sony's original — aligning all 19 pins under a microscope. Where the Panasonic retimer chip that handles the 4K signal has also failed, we replace that too. Every repair is stress-tested in 4K for 30+ minutes before you collect it.

PS5 repair questions
Common questions about PS5 repair in Bangor.
PS5 HDMI port repair is typically £80–£90. If only the port is damaged it is at the lower end; if the Panasonic retimer chip also needs replacing it is slightly more. We confirm the exact price after a free diagnostic and test in 4K.
The blue light of death is when the PS5 powers on, the light pulses blue, then it shuts down or shows no picture. It usually points to an HDMI fault, power supply issue or motherboard problem. Most cases are repairable.
Nine times out of ten this is a damaged HDMI port. The PS5 port is known to be fragile — the internal pins or anchor legs break, often after the cable is knocked. We replace the port with a reinforced part and test in 4K.
Yes. We repair and replace PS5 disc drives. PS5 drives are paired to the console motherboard, so a replacement must be correctly re-paired — which we handle in-house.
Most PS5 repairs are completed within 24–48 hours. Some, like fan cleaning, can be same-day. We do the work in our Bangor workshop rather than sending it away.
